EdPsychEd FAQs

All EdPsychEd courses are on-demand, giving you the freedom to begin the course whenever you like, and up to a year to complete it. EdPsychEd courses can be accessed from any internet-connected device, including desktops, laptops, mobile or tablets. After enrolling within a course, it can be accessed by logging in and visiting your library page.

Each staff training and CPD course on EdPsychEd is purchased separately and is priced differently depending upon the length of the course and the depth of the resources provided with it. For costings on each individual course, please see the associated course page.

We work with a ‘quality over quantity’ principle, while always seeking ways to make our courses as affordable for you as possible. One way we can offer greater discounts is through group / bulk purchases. Cost per customer is also reduced when training packages are bought in for groups. Each course provides you with unlimited access for 12 months from day of purchase. This means that you can re-watch and review the training as many times as they wish during that period. 

While you will find each course has different guidance on how to work through it and timeframes, we would suggest that most are initially completed within 1-2 months. This gives you time to then return and re-watch elements of the course to further grow and embed knowledge over time.

If you complete any of our courses and do not see the impact or outcomes desired, please contact us at [email protected]. First and foremost, we will be keen to hear more about your experiences so we can seek to make improvements. 

We will also be happy to provide you with a full refund. The terms for this are that 1) over 80% of the course has been completed, and 2) you have contacted us within two months from this time of 80% completion. Any refund will be made back into the account used to purchase the course. Certain restrictions may apply and some purchases may only be eligible for credit refunds.

Currently each EdPsychEd course can only be bought separately. When our portfolio of online courses has built up, we will be revisiting the notion of EdPsychEd memberships to provide you with even more value. We will inform previous customers of any membership opportunities when they arise, and will look to offer appropriate discounts towards this from any courses previously purchased.

We have previously really enjoyed hosting live in-person and webinar events. Overall, discussions and surveys with colleagues show that Educational Psychologists and School Staff are incredibly keen for quality CPD, but accessibility to live in-person CPD (e.g. travel, timing etc.) is one of the biggest barriers. In response to this, we began EdPsychEd. 

To create a community, we also want to facilitate each online course to include live events, such as Q&As with the trainers, online supervision and live training segments.

We are currently working with a range of psychologists and educational professionals who have a variety of qualifications and experiences, with valuable knowledge on the topic area. All Educational Psychologists have either a Masters degree in Educational Psychology and/or a Doctorate in Child and Educational Psychology and have additional qualifications and/or significant experience in the course they have created for EdPsychEd.

Yes, you will receive an official certificate of completion to document your accomplishment once finishing the particular course you take.

Our courses are developed to give you all the tools and practical strategies to enable you to achieve professional development goals or develop a particular knowledge base. While we do not offer specific qualifications at present, our courses may be used as part of institution programmes in the future.

We love collaborating and working with others within the Educational Psychology and wider educational communities. Collaboration is a fundamental aspect of our ethos and we know that there are so many incredible educational practitioners out there with so much valuable knowledge and experience to share.

We want to create a community around each course to be able to discuss and share ideas, share resources, and an open space to ask the Trainer questions. For each course, you’ll find details on how to join a private Facebook group where the trainer and course community look forward to welcoming you.

Most professional institutes, such as Teaching Council and HCPC, provide members with CPD requirements. Depending upon your profession, you’ll have your own Continuing Professional Development requirements, including how CPD should be recorded and the number of hours required each year. 

CPD typically include attending live and online training events, webinars and conferences as well as other structured forms of learning such as reading and research. While EdPsychEd courses align with what is normally counted as CPD hours, please refer to your specific professional institution for guidance.
